Methods: MRI Data Acquisition; Table S1: Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria for Participants Enrolled in the Two Studies; Table S2: Baseline Characteristics of Older Adults with Alzheimer’s Dementia (AD), Healthy Controls (HC) and AD Participants Randomized to rPAS or rPAS-C; Figure S1: PAS Protocol. Participants received transcranial magnetic stimulation to the left DLPFC followed by peripheral nerve stimulation on the right median nerve after 25 ms to assess LTP. PAS-LTP was measured by cortical evoked activity before and after PAS using electroencephalography. PAS-LTP = (CEA Post-PAS)/(CEA Pre-PAS). After a baseline assessment of PAS-LTP, participants were randomized to the active or sham intervention to induce PAS-LTP. One day after the intervention, PAS-LTP was re-assessed
