This supporting information contains additional methods and results on how we transformed arthropod abundance to arthropod biomass in the Zackenberg arthropod dataset collected between 1996 and 2020. In addition, it contains two supplementary figures depicting annual trends in the average biomass per specimen per date, and an extension of our conceptual simulation for non-symmetrical phenological distributions of abundance.
