This supplementary information file contains two tables with the complete generic lists and details of numbers of species, rank, synonymy rate and status based on the December 2023 update to World Flora Online. Table S1 is the complete list of all big (>500 species) and megadiverse (>1,000 species) flowering plant genera, showing changes from 2004. Table S2 is names published in big genera since the 1st of January 2000, and treated as accepted in the December 2023 update of the World Flora Online.
