Locust walking kinematics in three experimental conditions: continuously moving stimuli, in-phase, and out-of-phase (see Figure 1 for details). All experiments were conducted on the same insects (in random order). For the sake of simplicity, data shown are only those for stimuli moving in the opposite direction to the locust's heading, similarly on both screens. A. Walking fraction; B. Avg. pause duration.
