Type II sums of squares were obtained with function Anova from package car, and estimates and standard errors for the main effects with function lm in R. Effects that were not inluded in the final models are shown in parentheses. Significant effects (p<0.05) are shown in bold. No significant effects on Il-4 were found. Ifng expression was below detection level in most individuals.
