Long-term spectral average (LTSA) showing the low-frequency sound content of the A) Cocoloba and B) Tektite unenriched soundscapes over a single 24-hour period during the playback experiment (non-overlapping 5-s Hanning windows, nfft size = 4800, 10 Hz bins). LTSAs generated from uncalibrated pressure data using the Triton software package (Scripps Institution of Oceanography) for visualization purposes. Dawn and dusk peaks of activity at Tektite are likely due to increased fish activity while midday low-frequency peaks are a result of daytime boating activity over the reef.
