Ca Ski cells were transiently transfected with a siRNA or scrambled for PIR silencing and the levels of PIR transcripts or pirin protein were evaluated by (a) RT-qPCR, (b) western blotting and (c) immunofluorescence. Results are representative of three independent experiments.
