The take-off is simulated from the crouch phase using experimentally recorded input data for leg joint angle kinematics. The yellow and green sectors show the with- and without-toque stability windows, respectively. The black arrow is the net acceleration vector. The green triangle is the centre of pressure, which remains beneath the foot contact throughout the acceleration phase.
