Supplementary Video: birds probing Aloe ferox from Generalist birds outperform specialist sunbirds as pollinators of an African Aloe

Glossy starling, weaver and sunbird probing Aloe ferox flowers. The opportunistic birds (glossy starling and weaver) spread the flower open while probing and make contact between their forehead and the reproductive parts. The flower does not spread open during the sunbirds visit, and there is little contact with the reproductive parts.
