Supplemental Video S3 from Mutual visual signalling between the cleaner shrimp Ancylomenes pedersoni and its client fish

View of antennae whipping by the lagoon triggerfish Rhinecanthus aculeatus [selected to represent the low end of reef fish acuity; 3.4 cycles per degree [7]]. In this video, the width of the frame is assumed to be 10cm, based on the size standard (quarter) in the image. The viewer is assumed to be at a distance of 30cm. The left panels show the video as it would appear to human eyes, the right panels show the video modified for the fish viewer. Acuity has been accounted for using the R package AcuityView [8]. The colour of the image has remained unaltered, since the majority of reef fish can see at least all of the colours visible to a human.
