Animated phase plot showing how the state of the centre of each gate depicted in Figure 3 changes over time. The initially identical states are influenced differently by their neighbours which start in different True/False states (see bottom row of Figure 3). Over the course of prescribed regime changes (indicated at the top of the frame in the movie), the trajectory given the T/T input ends near the state associated with False (a high concentration of U and low concentration of V), and the other trajectories end near the state associated with True (high V, low U). The gates have thus successfully accomplished a NAND operation.
