Figure S5. All isolates containing a TRK1 or a PHO84 mutation. Phylogeny is a ML tree based on 3,835 variable sites. Sequence data was obtained for 2 clones in all populations except C12. The only population in which a pho84 mutation is not accompanied by a mutant trk1, E03, also contains the only synonymous pho84 allele. The only population polymorphic for TRK1, H03, indicates that the PHO84 mutation arose first.
