The effect of missing data on distance from the morphospace origin. Linear regressions between a taxon’s percentage missing data and its Pythagorean distance from the origin of PCO space on the first two PCO axes. PCO was performed with and without negative eigenvalue correction on raw, Generalised Euclidean (GED), Gower Coefficient (GOW) and Maximum Observable Rescaled (MAX) distance matrices generated from a simulated cladistic matrix.
